Chocolate Chip Brownies

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup (165ml) vegetable oil
  • ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • ½ cup (100g) light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup (100g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup (50g) cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup (80g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and spray an 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish with non-stick spray; set aside.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together oil, sugars, eggs, and vanilla.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Add to wet mixture and whisk just until combined.
  • Add in chocolate chips and stir (you can use a ½ cup extra chocolate chips if desired). Sprinkle a few extra chocolate chips on top.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, remove from oven and let brownies cool for 10 minutes. Cut into squares and enjoy! Vanilla ice cream is highly recommended!
